Ruth Kark is an Israeli scholar and Professor of Geography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She holds the B.A. (1964) M.A. (1972) AND PHD (1977) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.[1]

Kark is noted for her work on on settlement in the Land of Israel in the 19th-century and on Western influences on the Holy Land.[2]
