The University of Louisville is a public, state-supported university located in Louisville, Kentucky. It consists of a liberal arts college, the J. B. Speed School of Engineering, a law school, a medical school, and several others. Most facilities are located on the 274-acre Belknap Campus three miles from downtown Louisville. Enrollment in Fall 2002 was 21,089.
