In full, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail (born 1943) is the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (roughly equivalent to King) of Malaysia, and Raja of Perlis.

His turn as King started on December 13, 2001, earlier than expected as the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah Al-Haj, who had been having his turn as king died on November 26, 2001 while his term should end in 2004.

He became Raja of Perlis on April 17, 2000, the day after his father, Tuanku Syed Putra ibni Almarhum Syed Hassan Jamalullail, who had been Raja since 1945, and at that time the world's longest reigning monarch, died. He is married to the Queen, Raja Permaisuri Agong Tengku Fauziah binti Almarhum Tengku Abdul Rashid, daughter of Tengku Abdul Rashid ibni Almarhum Sultan Sulaiman Badrul Alam Shah of Terengganu, by his wife Tengku Kembang Puteri binti Almarhum Sultan Ibrahim Petra of Kelantan.

He studied at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and is a fan of Tottenham Hotspur football club.
