31st Tactical Aviation Base (Polish: 31 Baza Lotnictwa Taktycznego - 31.BLoT) is the biggest military unit of Polish Air Force. Unit was created in 2008 as a result of fuison of two previous units stationed in 31st Air Base(in 2008 base was renamed to 31st Tactical Aviation Base and it may be confused with the name of the unit since both names are the same). Unit operates two squadrons of F-16 C/D fighters (16 planes in each squadron) and two Mi-2 utility helicopters.
