The Baha'i Faith emphasizes the 'unity of humanity transcending all divisions of race, nation, gender, caste, and social class.

[quote here]

Unity can be descriptive, prescriptive, or predictive. For example:

"Mankind is one" (descriptive).
"Mankind ought to unite" (prescriptive).
"Mankind will unite" (predictive).

All three are found in the Baha'i corpus. In addition we ought to distinguish between biological, cultural, political, and spiritual unity. While the Baha'i writings affirm all of these, they are not necessarily expected to arise simultaneously.

Biological Unity

Cultural Unity

Political Unity

Spiritual Unity
