Geyssell García is a Nicaraguan beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Nicaragua 2024 and will represent her country at Miss Universe 2024. Navarrete is the first delegate crowned under the new Miss Nicaragua organization changing their name to Miss Universe Nicaragua taking place outside Nicaragua after 23 years.
Background
García was born in the Santo Tomas town in the department of Chontales during her childhood after a couple years she and her family moved to the capital city Managua.
Her educational background includes a degree in tourism and hotel administration as well she has her hotel called Laguna Azul.
Garcia works a traveling blogger she has traveled to more than 10 countries.

Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2018
García competed at Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2018 representing the department of Chontales during her competition she became 1st runner up after Yoselin Gomez from Boaco takes the tittles.
Face of Beauty International 2018
As runner up at Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2018 she was sent to compete in New Delhi, India in the seventh edition of Face of Beauty International 2018 were she end as 2nd runner up of the competition and winning best in swimmer.
Miss Nicaragua 2020
García competed at Miss Nicaragua 2020 representing the department of Chontales, competed against 7 other candidates ending in 1st runner up after Ana Marcelo wins the title and placed in the top 21 at Miss Universe 2020 held in Hollywood, Florida.
Reinado Internacional del Cafe 2020
Garcia was sent to compute at Colombia in the 2020 Reinado Internacional del Cafe beauty pageant representing her country where as a hugged favorite was unable to placed in finals.
Miss Nicaragua 2021
García was the first Nicaraguan to compete two times at the Miss Nicaragua beauty pageant trying to get the title and represent Nicaragua at Miss Universe however during this Miss Nicaragua competition she were unable to continue in the pageant and withdrew from the competition due to personal reasons.
Miss Universe Nicaragua 2024
At the end of Miss Universe 2023 when Sheynnis Palacios won the title of Miss Universe due to political reasons the Nicaraguan government cancelled the Miss Nicaragua pageant and with that cancelled more editions of this pageant to choose the Nicaraguan representative at Miss Universe.
On September 12th in a Instagram post was revealed the new Miss Universe Nicaragua organization based in Miami, Florida. Announcing the 2024 Miss Universe Nicaragua representative Geyssell Garcia of 28 years old from Chontales, Nicaragua. Through a post through Instagram Geyssell announced the great honor she have to be called Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2024 held on November in Mexico.
After her announcement she won more than 20k followers on Instagram.
