Remember Abscam?

[edit]

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Didn't the Governor of Arizona just have to put the kaboshes on a GOP plan to sell land and groundwater rights to Saudi Arabia?

Sorry about that, Tom, but someone in Congress today needs to remember what was wrong with taking bribes from Saudis. They are allies in some matters, not others. Taking ground water from Arizona is one of those "others". Danshawen (talk) 14:11, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
