One page for 500 (number) through 599 (number)?

[edit]

I have hereby moved this discussion to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Numbers, where I think it belongs. If someone can figure out the right way to redirect the above community discussion thing over there too, please do so!--Niels Ø (noe) 23:28, 20 September 2007 (UTC) - Actually, I guess one should just add a slighly modified version of the template to that talk page, and remove it here. But I'm not sure; I'll leave that for someone else to do.--Niels Ø (noe) 02:45, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

500 Internal Server Error

[edit]

is not represented here, even though other HTTP status codes are. Why? Graue 02:36, 31 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It could just be that whoever added the other status codes just skipped that one over. Since it's listed at this page, which is official enough for me, I will add it. PrimeFan 21:45, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

573 as the konami number

[edit]

573 isn't "the konami number" because of ddr, it has been associated with konami since the beginning. From Konami: "Konami is represented by the goroawase number "573". "Five" in Japanese is go, changed to the voiceless form ko; "7" in Japanese is nana shortened to na; "3" in Japanese is mittsu, shortened to mi; "573" = ko-na-mi." The way it is represented in the article suggests that the song (specifically I believe the article is referring to MAX300 and its remixes) is the reason for this number being associated with Konami, when the relationship existed long before the connection to that particular song (or anything from DDR). That being said, I intend to change this article to be less specific about the reasons (or more specific depending on your point of view) and reword it to indicate the actual relationship. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tiger yamato (talkcontribs) 21:04, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

567 as an euphemism for coronavirus pandemic

[edit]

A few weeks ago, I was thinking about Japanese numbers and their pronunciations, when I figured out 567 in sequence would be pronounced "korona" / コロナ. Immediately, I associated that number with the 2019-202x coronavirus pandemic due to 5 being go (remove dakuten diacritics and you get ko), 6 being roku (remove second syllable), and 7 being nana (use na once). Even a Japanese hotel had to lower their nightly rate to 567 yen because they had lost business due to the pandemic. Nmchlngy4 (talk) 00:54, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
