Info/ Possible biases

I believe in baring all of one's positions to create an environment of trust and sensible discourse, free of biased choices

THEREFOR, this section will be heavily biased. Do not take any of this as fact, this is simply here so that you may judge my decisions based on my biases, and correct AND HELP me thereby. Prepare to read a lot of yap, if any of it seems off to you, feel free to say so in the talk page

Personal:

  • Demigirl, leaning non-binary [They/her]
  • Aromantic & Asexual
  • Against the Idea of MAPs
  • I speak English and German, grew up in Germany and spend most of my time on the Internet.
  • I prefer serial commas, singular they, and gender-neutral language.
  • I smoke, drink and am not opposed to drug use, especially concerning hallucinogenics. I personally believe in the idea of an Ego death by using them, however, I am not on an expert per se on any of the related fields, and therefor not much more qualified, if even, to give an opinion than you, the reader.
  • I prefer animals over humans, because for me both possess the same value of existance, no matter what that might be. At the same time, humans commit cruelties beyond comprehension despite their supposed intelligence. Therefor, animals in my opinion have much more worth and are more respectable.
  • Not a vegetarian

Beliefs:

  • Antinatalist, as I see child birth as cruel due to the impossibility of consent from the born person, who might grow up to suffer, which means you gamble another's suffering just to fill a desire to procreate.
  • Antitheist, as religious ideas, especially of non-proven concepts (Gods, Energies, inherent universal orders, etc...) hinder social and scientific progress, and leads to suffering and manipulation of (mostly) children. Since they are unknowing and malleable, preaching or recommending them religion is nothing but manipulation. I do not respect religions if, as is it the case most of the time, the person or their belief condemns me as an atheist/anarchist/trans person to eternal suffering or anything less than believers. That is simply blackmail, and I apply this rule even if you say you don't believe in it, but your church/general religious group/scripture does. This applies to natives, etc. too. I, however, have nothing against simple groups of people with similar ideas and beliefs that are based on arguments and logic.
  • I love public transit, and believe we need more trams & trains. Cars are a byproduct of capitalist consumerism and lobbying against public transit /for building just one more lane. Cars are always way less efficient than public transit, even if electric. Most problems of removing cars are due to decades of international car-dependent development.
  • By heart I believe that any censoring or paywalling information is one of the worst acts to be committed against humanity in modern times. Limiting access to information in ANY way is going to slow down scientific/social progress, thereby inevitably leading to a future of more suffering. Companies/Websites that paywall research papers might not be committing crimes technically, yet they are probably going to be responsible for a lot of future suffering due to slowed research.
  • I generally dislike the idea of feminism. I find gender equality indispensable, as sexism and racism are similarly unfactual and archaic. However, 1. the name feminism makes it seem like the issue is all about women's rights, when in reality, "both" genders suffer from a horrendous amount of stereotypes and mistreatment, and as alluded by "both", I do believe in no arbitrary human limit to genders, and that feminism fails to address the generally skewed system of genders. 2. Feminism has a lot of stigma and bad reputation associated with it, like transphobia and misandry. While these issues are not as prevalent as media suggests, they get the most attention and do exist too widely. Also, as I'll say in the next point, it fails at simply fixing issues and worsens the issue by treating every female achievement as having to be mentioned and compared to curing death or similar feats. That makes it seem as if women are inferior and any such achievement is rare and has to be exaggerated. It would be much better to make female achievements seem just as impressive as male and other ones, i.e. stop mentioning the gender of the achieving as that creates an environment where gender is disconnected from what the person can or did do.
  • Anarchist, as governments cause most wars and conflicts, promote societal disparity, are inherently unjust and have no basis for existing in the first place, enforce arbitrary, subjective laws with no respect to the human behind the crime, fail to address the actual roots of problems, and hinder progress. Once again a reminder that anarchy is not lawless death-permeated chaos, but just the absence of a central governing body.
  • Discordian, because the only thing universal is chaos, and trying to tame it is futile. Therefor, embracing chaos and disorder is our best choice, without needing to sacrifice human order. I believe we humans can exist as a somewhat ordered society, woven of the chaos that is being human, surrounded by chaotic environments that need no taming by us.
