Founded in 1965[1], the Red Oaks School is a private, coeducational, day school that integrates two academic programs (Montessori and International Baccalaureate) with a Lower School (Pre-K to Grade 4) campus in Morristown, New Jersey and a Middle School (Grades 5 to 8) campus[2] in Morris Plains, New Jersey.[3][4]
The Red Oaks School is accredited as an International Baccalaureate World School (Middle Years Programme) and by the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools (NJAIS).[5]
Chris Weaver, former Director of Curriculum and Faculty Development at The Peck School, will succeed Marilyn Stewart as Head of School on July 1, 2024.[6]
