Ivan Yaeger (Born June 7th, 1967) is a inventor and nonprofit executive that is nationally known for his research and production towards Prosthetics. He is the founder, and chief executive officer of Yaeger Companies which was formally known as Yaeger Foundation Inc.

Yaeger first attended Miami Shores Elementary School and North Miami Junior High School.[1] From there he went on to graduate High school from Miami Central Senior High School in 1984.[1] 4 years later Yaeger received his B.B.A degree in business from the University of Miami in 1988.[1]

  • Artificial arm and hand assembly.
    • The patent has been filed on October 4 1985. An artificial arm capable of being used as a prosthesis on the human body and controlled via the nerve groups wherever the prosthetic is connected too. Three independent drive motors are mounted between foundation bases which are located on the upper arm, forearm, and the top of the hand. The motors are placed in these specific bases to perfectly replicate arm movement. In doing this it adds strength and simplicity to the artificial arm giving it a high degree of versatility and range of movements.[2]
  • Locking device for restricting the viewing of video cassettes.
    • This patent has been filed in May 10, 1989. A device that can be easily and temporarily locked onto a video cassette to prevent insertion of said video cassette into video equipment. The device is equipped with 2 flexing locking bands shaped to fit widthwise around a video cassette. The device is supposed to create a lock to the cassette player inside of the player or allow the cassette tapes to come out of the cassette player. The only way to allow access in or out is to remove the device from the cassette player.

    • This patent has been filed on September 6, 1988.
