2093 is the fourth studio album by American rapper Yeat. It was released on February 16, 2024, through Capitol Records, Field Trip Recordings and Lyfestyle Corporation. It contains guest appearances from American rappers Lil Wayne and Future.

Background

The rapper would release the single "Bigger Then Everything"[1]. As well as a collaboration with Drake titled "IDGAF" in August and October 2023.[2]

Since he went sober, his style has followed a more experimental angle. Yeat further described the theme of 2093 as a "dystopian society" and said that people would have no idea what it was "going to sound like."[3]

It features futuristic animations and revolves around the tale of a "corporate police state," inspired by Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949).[4] Pictures show him in Paris, recording with Donald Glover in a recording studio, and a FaceTime between him and Drake.[5] He also posted a snippet of a song with Future.[6] On February 15, the rapper announced the album and shared the tracklist on Instagram.[7][8]
