Roseman University of Health Sciences is a private university, non-profit institution of higher education focused on healthcare and located in Henderson, Nevada. It also has campuses in Summerlin (Las Vegas), Nevada and South Jordan, Utah. It was founded by Dr. Harry Rosenberg, Dr. Renee Coffman, and Dr. Charles Lacy and enrolled its first class in January 2001. Academics

The university is comprised of the College of Dental Medicine, offering a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AEODO) residency program, and an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program in partnership with NYU Langone Dental Medicine; College of Pharmacy, offering an Accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Dual Accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Sciences in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PharmD-MSPS); College of Nursing, offering an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN/FNP) and Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia (DNPNA); and College of Graduate Studies offering a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSPS), and Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MBS). Roseman University of Health Sciences will also offer a Doctor of Medicine (MD) through its College of Medicine once it becomes accredited. [2]

Roseman University of Health Sciences is licensed to operate in the State of Nevada by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education. It is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).[3]

The Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). The college has an institutional membership in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).[citation needed]

The Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Nursing holds full approval status with the Nevada State Board of Nursing.[4] The baccalaureate and master degree programs in nursing at Roseman University of Health Sciences are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. [5]

The Roseman University College of Dental Medicine Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AEODO) programs are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)[6]

Name

The name of the institution is a portmanteau of the names of university co-founders Dr. Harry Rosenberg and Dr. Renee Coffman.[citation needed]

Patient Care

Roseman University of Health Sciences operates patient care clinics in Nevada and Utah[9], including Roseman Dental, the clinical practice of the College of Dental Medicine with locations in Henderson, Nevada, Summerlin (Las Vegas), Nevada and South Jordan, Utah; Roseman Medical Group, a medical practice offering primary care; and the College of Medicine's EMPOWERED, a program providing services to pregnant and postpartum individuals with substance use disorders and GENESIS, a household-centered approach aligning healthcare, public health, and social services to help vulnerable households achieve resiliency.
