Roseman University of Health Sciences
Roseman University of Health Sciences is a private university focused on healthcare and located in Henderson, Nevada. It has a second campus in South Jordan, Utah. It was founded by Dr. Harry Rosenberg, enrolled its first class in January 2001, and was originally called the Nevada College of Pharmacy and the University of Southern Nevada.[1] 36°04′26″N 115°03′54″W / 36.073821°N 115.064905°W
Academics
The university is comprised of the College of Dental Medicine, offering a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AEODO) residency program, and an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program in partnership with NYU Langone Dental Medicine; College of Pharmacy, offering a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Dual Accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Sciences in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PharmD-MSPS); College of Nursing, offering an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN/FNP) and Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia (DNPNA); and College of Graduate Studies offering a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSPS), and Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MBS). Roseman University of Health Sciences will also offer a Doctor of Medicine (MD) through its College of Medicine once it becomes accredited. [2]
Roseman University of Health Sciences is licensed to operate in the State of Nevada by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education. It is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).[3]
The Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). The college has an institutional membership in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).[citation needed]
The Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Nursing holds full approval status with the Nevada State Board of Nursing.[4] The baccalaureate and master degree programs in nursing at Roseman University of Health Sciences are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. [5]

Name
The name of the institution is a portmanteau of the names of university president Rosenberg and Pharmacy School dean Dr. Renee Coffman.[citation needed]
