Requested move 27 February 2019
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: Moved both. Two users gave rationales for moving both and using hatnotes, one user gave a rationale for using a disambiguation, and one user just voted which means nothing. (closed by non-admin page mover) SITH (talk) 21:24, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
– A WP:ONEOTHER situation that ought to be reversed. Granted, neither article is particuarly well developed, but the musican gets over 90% of the page views so in terms of usage he is clearly the primary topic. - Oppose first and support second 2601:541:4500:1760:8F:FFDC:784B:363A (talk) 12:13, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
- On what basis? This isn't a vote. PC78 (talk) 11:16, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose first and support second. Martin Duffy should be a disambiguation page. Neither the 8-sentence stub for filmmaker nor the 11-sentence stub for the musician delineates sufficient prominence for elevation to WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 18:46, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- Support as the primary topic in a WP:TWODABS situation with over 8 times the number of pageviews. Just because the other article happened to be written 3 months before this one back in 2006, doesn't mean we shouldn't correct the situation now. Station1 (talk) 00:39, 14 March 2019 (UTC)
