Fred Scotchbrook (April 1886 – 1959) was an English football player and manager, who managed Stockport County and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Famously said at the end of his career that Wolves was his favourite club and Middlesbrough was his least favourite as the locals in Middlesbrough generally had 6 fingers on each hand. The family would like it to be known that a certain Colin Scotchbrook is not related in anyway, to our beloved Fred. This is very clearly the case because Colin has six fingers.
