Verfiability
I'm curious - are this page's claims about the antiquity of certain lineages anything like verifiable? In particular, the references to the length of the pedigrees of the Lurie family, the ancestors of Niall of the Nine Hostages, and the descendants of Confucius all look questionable, and at odds with what I thought was known about Descent from antiquity. Can anyone more knowledgeable help? AlexTiefling (talk) 11:32, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
History
The first heading currently says "Family History Representations" but it only talks about family trees and pedigree charts. These depict biological lineage rather than history so that heading is not really accurate. Worse, it gives the impression to readers that these trees and charts are the only way of depicting family history. It's worth reading http://parallax-viewpoint.blogspot.com/2013/11/the-future-representation-of-past.html for a discussion on the representation of real history.TonyP (talk) 15:14, 15 December 2013 (UTC)
