Özge Yağız (born 26 September 1997) is a Turkish actress known for her work in television series. After graduating from Başkent University Yağız made her debut with the supporting role in Adini sen Koy (2018). She gained immense popularity for her leading portrayal Reyhan Tarhun in romantic drama series The Promise for which she received Best Actress nomination in Güzel Choice Awards.
Life and career
Özge Yağız was born on 26 September 1997 in Istanbul.[1] She acquired her education from Başkent University in Communication Sciences Academy.[2] She started her acting career in 2018, with a small role in season 3 of the series Adını Sen Koy and portrayed the character of Zeliha, which was broadcast on Star TV.[1][2]
In February 2019, she appeared in the day time series Yemin on Kanal 7, and depicted the character of Reyhan, it was her first leading role, which opened prime time series doors for her.[3]
Later in 2020, she starred in Sol Yanım and portrayed the character of Serra, which was broadcast on Star TV. It starred Tolga Mendi, Cemre Baysel and Cansel Elçin.[4][5][6]
In 2021, she began working on the series İçimizden Biri in which she depicted the character of Havva, daughter of a Turkish Muslim family, who falls in love with Adam, son of an Irish Christian family.[7][8]
In 2022, she appeared in TV series Baba produced by Ay Yapım. she played a character Büşra Saruhanli, Emin's only daughter. As the Saruhanli family learns a shocking truth after a plane crash, their lives suddenly change. The future of Saruhanlı family is already awaited with great interest. the series was broadcast on Show TV and it had two seasons, she shared roles with Haluk Bilginer And Tolga Sarıtaş the series ended with a total of 30 episodes.
in 2023 she starred in two films that are yet to be released, Başka Türlü Aşk she played the lead role with Caner Topçu. A little later she starred in a movie Beyaz Eşya with Burak Sevinç, both films are yet to release. She also appeared on the front pages of magazines Samdan Plus and Formasnté.
She's currently shooting her new series Safir, where she'll play the lead character Feraye.
