Copyright for the sculpture Tilted Arc (registration number VAu000096606) was registered with the U.S. Copyright Office by Richard Serra on 1986-04-21.

At Commons, this photo was deleted as a copyright violation of the sculptor's. In the deletion discussion, there was debate as to whether a 120-foot-long, "solid, unfinished plate of COR-TEN steel" (as the Tilted Arc article describes it) is copyrightable.
