It isn't at all clear from this article how its title relates to its content. I'm guessing that "Description of the Human Body" is a book or something by Descartes, but I don't know that for sure. The article needs an opening sentnece which makes this clear. --Camembert

Harvey

(This was brought further by William Harvey. Harvey developed the idea of the circulation of the blood.)

How can this be if Harvey's On the Motion of the Heart and Blood in Animals was written in 1628, before Descartes began The Description of the Human Body?

Make an article with The Man ?

This posthumous treatise was published with another more important manuscript, L'Homme, in 1664. I think they can be analyze together due to their thematic unity and editorial history. Zythème (talk) 14:26, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
