Nice!

[edit]

Just wanted to compliment you on your effort on SSC: great expansion of content, with a clearly diligent search for sourcing. I suspect parts will get pruned back a bit (some of the sourcing is quite slim), but this will nicely expand the scope of content covered. Jlevi (talk) 00:03, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Jlevi, thank you very much! I haven't been contributing to Wikipedia for several years and I forgot how to do proper citation formats, so I am sorry that it doesn't look great. In the first paragraph almost every sentence is sourced from the New Yorker article, but I thought that stylistically it looks better if there is just one footnote in the end of the paragraph. Louise Perry column

[edit]

Just a note - the source you added from the New Statesman is an opinion column (Perry states this explicitly in the first sentence, and the extensive use of first-person is also a giveaway) and thus must only be used to source the attributed opinion of Louise Perry. It cannot be used for unattributed facts. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 00:41, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
