The Mission Reds were a minor league baseball team which played in the Pacific Coast League from 1926 through 1937. The team began play in 1909 as the Vernon Tigers, and was moved to San Francisco for the 1926 season. They were operated as a second team in San Francisco, as rivals of the existing San Francisco Seals. The team was supposed to represent the Mission District of San Francisco, although the team never played its home games in that part of the city. The team was seldom referred to by its formal name of "Mission Reds," being called simply "the Missions." The team was more often than not listed as "Missions" in the standings.

During its twelve-year history, the Missions were unable to establish a fan base or a rivalry with the Seals, whose bitter rivals were instead the transbay Oakland Oaks. After the 1937 season, the team was sold and moved back to Los Angeles, renamed the Hollywood Stars for the 1938 season.
