She was named Mai after singer Mai Charoenpura.[2] She is of mixed Thai & Belgian descent.[3]
She attended Phraharuthai Donmuang School and Kevalee International School during her primary and secondary school years. She graduated from Rangsit University, major in Communication Arts.
Career
She made an acting debut on 2010 in television series Ngao Kammathep as the lead role. She rose to fame from her films; Heart Attack with Sunny Suwanmethanon and Suddenly Twenty. In 2013, she has been the female lead star of Thailand's highest-grossing film of all time, Pee Mak alongside Mario Maurer.
Before debuting, she was a commercial model. She entered modeling industry at the age of 14 through filming various commercials. However, she caught the attention of Helen, the assistant of her former manager, Supachai Srivijit. Through the help of her former manager, she earned herself a contract with Channel 7. In 2016, Mai started to become a freelance actress. Her current manager is Klao Nampraw.
She received an award alongside Mario Maurer in the 2016 Asia Model Awards held in Korea. She is also an ambassador of UNICEF and WildAid Thailand.
Personal life
She has a relationship with Chantavit Dhanasevi since mid-2018.[4]
