The negative side about propaganda is that it can be very misleading and can be very bias towards something so much that it tends to leave out other important information that the people trying to get people to be influenced would not want to hear so they leave it out on purpose. This tacit has been used for hundreds of years and is used for everything from election year to buying fast food. According to a article called " How Can Propaganda be Both Positive and Negative" by Hasa the example he uses to make his point across on how propaganda can have a negative influence on people is the German government under Hitler’s rule used propaganda to favor and promote Nazism. This type of propaganda effected a lot of kids there whole life because Germans made kids believe that all Jewish people are a threat to there society. When really that is not the case so this is a prime example of how propaganda can influences the life style of kids, that are not educated. This is the negative aspects that propaganda can portray to get people to think and act towards certain groups or have feelings towards country's that are misleading due to the fact that country want to have. |

Now the positive part of propaganda. The positive part of it is that it can bring people together and influences people from different background to have something in common. According to a article called "50 powerful examples of visual propaganda and the meanings behind them" by Calitlin Jordan. The biggest stand out for me about a positive propaganda was poster number twelve. This poster was created in Britain during WWII. It shows guys from the Britain military an they all are different types of British citizens all coming together in one cause to save there country by coming together rather then fighting a war like this separate because of skin tone. The message is that race and class does not matter when where all in trouble, and it influences people everyone as people to come together and help their country be a better place. This type of propaganda so positive because it brings people together in a way that no other things in this world can do. The more inflectional technology becomes in our lives the more important technology becomes also. This is the positive aspects that positive propaganda can have on people to influences them to not have build separation towards a certain group of people because they act or speak a different language then you. |

It would be hard for companies to sell their products without it. Advertisements also use propaganda and without it. These big companies would not be as big or important as they are without propaganda in good or bad. Our world would be different without propaganda. Influence of mass media (peer review)
Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you?
No, in my opinion its a very good article if anything its a article that gets straight to the point.
Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?
Its very biased because its only talks about one sided of there point, like its doesn't mention how the good of the media. But saying all this this article seems very neutral because of the sources and everything like that. What they could have change or add for the future is half and half points of view from what the media does do right and how they negativity influences people in different ways.
Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
I think its just right, there is not too many sources where it feels like there are over sourced but it also doesn't feel like there are not enough to back up there thoughts.
Check the citations. Do the links work? Does the source support the claims in the article?
yes, the sources links do work for the source support. The sources they choose support the claim in the article very good. Because every point they make in the article they have something to back up there thoughts so it makes the article good in my opinion.
Is each fact supported by an appropriate, reliable reference? Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that bias noted?
The sources are very reliable because they are books so the information is not like from sources that are not good. The information mainly came from books and chapters from those books. The bias is little noticeable in on some points but overall its good.
Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that should be added?'
There is not anything missing or out dated but they can add one more source or something to give the article more "life" but its a good article overall, there are not alot of negative things about it. Plus, its readable and thats a good thing too.
Soical Media (peer review)
Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you?
Yes, everything in this article is relevant to the topic an there is not anything that distracted me from getting to there main point that the writer wanted to get across.
Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?
There does not seem like there is any type of bias from reading the article in my opinion an that is a good thing. This articles does talk about the good, bad and give the reader a real general respective too.
Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
There are a lot of sources but in this article they use a lot of statistics things to back up what they feel so its kind of understandable on why they have tons of sources. Because they do not want to make the reader seem like there just making things up to benefit.
Check the citations. Do the links work? Does the source support the claims in the article?
All the source and the link do work. The sources do all support the claims that they want to prove in the article
Is each fact supported by an appropriate, reliable reference? Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that bias noted?
All the sources from what iv clicked on seem very reliable for the information that the article is trying to get things from. There is not a lot of bias as much, but in some points they try to make you can read some bias facts but that with a lot of articles, so that one thing they can try to change or add.
Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that should be added?
There is not any out dated information or sources from what iv readied. What could have been added is more of how social media is a positive thing and also a negative thing.
