The Forum Shops at Caesars (also known as simply The Forum) is a major 636,000-square-foot (59,100 m2) shopping mall connected to Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. Measured in terms of sales per square foot, it is the highest grossing mall in the United States.
History
The mall was built as an extension wing of the main hotel and casino in 1992. The idea was first suggested by Henry Gluck who served as chairman and chief executive officer of Caesars World from 1983 to 1994.[1] The Forum was expanded further in 2004 to front Las Vegas Boulevard on the Strip.
The Forum Shops at Caesars is the highest grossing mall in the United States with higher sales per square foot than Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California.[2][3] The mall includes more than 270 mid-range and luxury retailers, gourmet restaurants, and bars.
