Lilin Station (Chinese: 栗林車站; pinyin: Lìlín Chēzhàn), previously known as Fengnan Station (Chinese: 豐南車站; pinyin: Fēngnán Chēzhàn), is a railway station currently under construction on the Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) Taichung Line located in Tanzi District, Taichung, Taiwan. It will be open on March 29, 2017,[1] and will be served by both TRA and Taichung Metro Red Line trains.

Name

Lilin Station was originally going to be named Fengnan station (meaning "south of Fengyuan"). However, the station was located within Tanzi District, not Fengyuan District. Because of this, in July 2014, the station was renamed Lilin Station because it was located within Lilin Village, Tanzi.[2]
