Alistair Mann is a BBC football commentator. He trained as a journalist at the department of Journalism, Media and Communication, University of Central Lancashire. Since 2006, he has been a regular on the BBC's flagship Match of the Day programme and "The Football League Show". He also formed part of the BBC's coverage of the 2012 London Olympics and 2008 Beijing games.

He is also a commentator on the BT Sport channel, covering French, German, Italian and MLS football and was part of ITV's commentary team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, including the Uruguay v Italy match in which Luis Suarez appeared to bite Giorgio Chiellini.

Previously Mann worked for ITV Granada, where he presented all their sports output including Soccer Night, Late Kick Off and the daily news magazine show Granada Reports.

As a regional commentator and presenter, Mann has won three National Royal Television Society awards and has been nominated twice more. He's also a previous winner of the BT Journalist of the Year award.
