My Admin Policy: I trust that my fellow admins' actions are done for the good of Wikipedia. So if any of my admin actions are overturned I will not consider such an action to be a "Wheel War", but rather an attempt to improve Wikipedia. If I disagree with your action, I will try to discuss it with you or with the admin community, but I absolve you in advance of any presumption of acting improperly. We should all extend the same benefit of the doubt to our fellow admins, until they repeatedly prove that they are unworthy of such a presumption. This user has been a wikipedian for 19 years, 8 months and 15 days. This user has been an administrator for 18 years, 11 months and 14 days.
RFA statsHi NoSeptember, I just found a link to your stats from Tangotango's talk page & was pleasantly surprised such detailed stats for RFA's. Although I found a tiny glitch in your stats. Here it says my failed RFA's tally was (60/39/9) whereas it actually it was (60/31/9). Anyway if you need any help in updating/adding the stats, please do inform me. Cheers --Srikeit (Talk | Review me!) 11:27, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Related talk: here RfA ThanksNoSeptember, thank you for your support and speedy congratulations!! I'm not going to spam people with "RfA Thanks" messages, so please take a piece from my RfA thanks message. Also, thank you for your fascinating Admin Project - I hope it evolves even more. :D Cheers, Tangotango 11:35, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Related talk: here Thank youI just wanted to say "thank you" for correcting the dates on my user and talk pages. It is nice to know they're being watched over in my absence. Now, if I could just kick this WP habit again. :) SWAdair 07:10, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm confusedHey NoSeptember, you recently left a message on my page saying you or someone took the H from my sig or something like that. I am a little bit slow, so I got to ask you, what in the world are you talking about ;) Shalom--Thetrutbelow 02:11, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Related talk: here Lake NeedwoodI'm not sure about previous evacuations since I've only lived in the area a few years, but I'll try to find out some information within the next few days. I live within walking distance of the lake (thankfully not to the south!) so whatever I can find out might be useful. I'm also adding a picture I took. Thanks for starting the article!--Stainedglasscurtain 08:17, 29 June 2006 (UTC)Stainedglasscurtain Related talk: here I used to have a page exactly like that, but people got mad at me and de-transcluded the pages. Thanks for the info! Thanks for the info, my dear NoSeptember; but apparently, Kinneyboy has taken this chance to give it a second thought, and he won't apply just now. I praise his decision, since I'm afraid his edit count would have been an issue at a RfA. Btw, in case we don't see each other today again, have a great weekend! ;) Hugs, Phædriel ♥ tell me - 13:37, 30 June 2006 (UTC) Related talk: here Non-adminI am not anti-admin, but there is too much power in admins hands and not enough in normal editors control. Gang staEB• ice slides) 00:23, 3 July 2006 (UTC) Still, is Esperanza an admincracy or a consensus group? If our whole government is going to be a group of sysops normal editors don't have much power. Related talk: here Thanks, my dear NS!Thanks so much for the nice words regarding the mood meter, my dear NoSeptember :) I really didn't expect anyone to see it, or notice it, to be honest... anyway, everyone is more than welcome to use it, and it'd be a great honor if somebody besides from me chooses to... so feel free to snatch it yourself! ;) Again, thx - hope you're doing fine and you're enjoying the summer... cause I'm not :( Take good care! Related talk: here Conrad DevonshireRelated talk: here Hydnjo's response to the blocking proposalI thank one and all - Jarandal, Antandrus, Titoxd, Xaosflux, TenOfAllTrades, mboverload, PseudoSudo, Knowledge Seeker, Haukurth, Deathphoenix, Zzyzx11, Tyrenius, Zscout370, AnnH, Rick Block, Tyrenius (again), Zscout370 (again) and NoSeptember for your support. To Jeffrey O. Gustafson who initiated this block request I ask why? We have had no interaction until now so how do you come to this requested action at WP:AN? Did you come across my account during your own research or are you acting as a proxy for another admin/user with whom I've caused to be angry with me? In reviewing your contributions I see no such "letter of the law" before now and so I feel singled out by you and I have no clue as to why - that to me is most disturbing. If you've come to this action on your own then should I be always wary of another admin challenging the legitimacy of my account? For TenOfAllTrades who advised me not to worry and Rick who made me laugh I give special thanks, you've helped me to not take this so personally. And to Jeff, thanks for being courteous in informing me of your action and for letting me feel that your heart wasn't for blocking me. I wanted to say all of this before it all goes to archive heaven. I still have a lingering concern that this may arise again and don't want to go through WP life looking over my shoulder or worrying that I might piss-off some admin and cause another inquiry about the legitimacy of my account. If any of you who have been so gracious as to take the time to support me here have any suggestions to prevent such an action, please drop your thoughts on my talk or by email. Finally, on a personal note to all, I never ever expected so much supportive response from all of you. I know that I've been moody at times and have spoken in ways that I have regretted the next day. I hoped otherwise but it seemed that those unfortunate responses might end up being my legacy as they were the foremost in my mind. And so far as this being a "role account", I think that I'll let the descriptions of AnnH and NoSeptember (both above) stand as the most intuitive descriptions of this account. My (and our) warmest regards to all of you for your understanding and outward support for the continuation of hydnjo's user account and future contributions. Again, my delighted and humble thanks :-) --hydnjo talk 02:03, 18 July 2006 (UTC) addendum: Jeff, I was confused at the outset in that I wasn't aware of the "role account" policy and then after becoming aware I was frustrated that I had made so many edits which could mislead someone to the conclusion that my account was a role account. I'm sorry that in my zeal to understand your actions that I posed the possibility that you were acting at someone else's behest. I have no evidence of that and it was improper of me to even mention that such a bizarre conspiracy was possible. I find myself guilty of "blaming the messenger" and posting an inappropriate comment about your motivation. As for my account, I want to state that it is not a role account and I apologize for leaving the impression that it is one. "hydnjo" is the signature that I commonly use for much of my correspondence and thought it to be appropriate when I first started my WP account. The portmanteau is an acknowledgment of our shared existence and not an indication that Heidi and I share in editing at WP. I thank you for your courtesy in informing me at the outset of the discussion at WP:AN and for your compliments about my contributions. The comments in my response were made in the shadow of my own frustration with my having left a trail of edits that could easily be construed as having come from either Heidi or myself. I sincerely apologize to you for making any suggestion as to your motivation in bringing up a legitimate policy question. You have a genuine concern for the orderly behavior of our editors and I thank you for initiating this discussion and providing me the opportunity to explain the nature of my account. --hydnjo talk 19:10, 18 July 2006 (UTC) Related talk: here Blu Aardvark (again)Protected image at IFDI noticed that you protected the image Image:Dramatica what.jpg against vandalism. Someone has since nominated this image for deletion, but was unable to add {{ifd}} to the image description (and {{ifdc|{{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}}_{{subst:CURRENTDAY}}}} to the caption) due to the protection. Would you mind taking a minute to add them since we non-admins can't? Thanks. --Icarus (Hi!) 18:33, 18 July 2006 (UTC) Hi!Just thought I might wander by... :-) --HappyCamper 05:53, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Also i was wondering if you approved, that i should wrap <div id="contentSub"> around the links. The good thing about that is if people style the little subpage navigation thing in their css, it would do the same to that. The bad thing is if they make a #contentSub { display: none }, then the fake one wouldn't show either. We could copy the css from the http://en.wikipedia.org/skins-1.5/monobook/main.css , but the problem then would be if they change skins, or they want to style it, it wouldn't work change with their styling needs. Maybe we can start taking note of these? Kimchi.sg 16:07, 25 July 2006 (UTC) I was thinking of those RfAs that succeed with less than (say) 50 support votes. Those must be pretty rare this quarter and probably this year as well. The inspiration came from looking at RyanGerbil10 RfA's current vote count. Kimchi.sg 16:18, 25 July 2006 (UTC) P.S. I just converted the new message link in your sig page to use fullurl. Kimchi.sg 16:22, 25 July 2006 (UTC) There was a informal minimum number of votes? Hmm... I must have entered the RfA scene too late. :) Kimchi.sg 16:26, 25 July 2006 (UTC) Cecropia alluded to 15 total votes as "low"... nowadays our RfA community is so active, I suspect we might never again see any successful RfA with less than 30 support votes. Federal JudgesThanks for your note on my page. I know the FJC site and use it to create new stubs/short articles on historic judges of the past, augmenting them with knowledge obtained from my career as a lawyer and/or my avocation as a legal historian, when applicable. My goal is to have at least a stub for each current and former federal judge, particularly the appellate judges, just as there is now for each former Supreme Court Justice. For the court pages, one question is whether to stick with the simple lists of present and former judges (example at United States District Court for the Southern District of New York) or to go with the more complex table format (example at United States District Court for the District of Maine), although creating the latter may be beyond my newbie technical capabilities at this point anyway. In any event, thanks for noticing my work; I appreciate the feedback. Newyorkbrad 19:54, 5 August 2006 (UTC) ThanksYou are most welcome, you certainly deserve it!
