Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd
Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd is probably a closed company, wholly owned & staffed by Margaret Weis herself. The company itself fails WP:CORP and should be merged with this article. --Gavin Collins (talk) 13:48, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd should 'not have been dump-merged into Margaret Weis
I can't believe that the MWP article has been dumped into the article for Margaret Weis. Margaret Weis has done a ton of work outside of that company and Margaret Weis Productions was originally called Sovereign Press. This is a different subject and needs its own article. Some MWP products (and Sovereign Press products) have very little to do with Margaret Weis and some Margaret Weis products have nothing to do with Margaret Weis Productions. Combining the two subjects into one article is bound to confuse people. With one uber article, how are we supposed to get across the fact that novel X is nothing to do with MWP or gaming product Y is published by MWP, but nothing to do with the woman this article is about. Big Mac (talk) 11:27, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Is the "too many books" thing a quote from the author herself?
I tried checking out her website, but all it says now is
- Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd.
- The MWP Website has been taken down due to a recent attack against our website by hackers. We'll have a more secure and organized site back online soon!
Anyway, was that from her personal bio? Dream Focus 23:11, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Dragon's Disciple
I was removing some links that didn't exist when I saw that there is no page for Dragon's Disciple. Why is this? It doesn't make sense that this book, of all the books she's written, would redirect to her page. In fact, checking the links again, neither Dragon's Disciple nor Dark Heart have their own page- the link listed there is just to a disambiguation page. I'm going to pull out the Main article reference, as there is none, and take out the Dark Heart link. If someone who has read the book could create the page and then link it back to here, that would be nice, but I have not read the book and have neither the time nor the inclination to create pages. So, for now, I'll just take out the link. Objections? --Song (talk) 18:44, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Names
ISFDB lists "Legal Name: Weis, Margaret Edith Baldwin" [1] which also suggests that Margaret Edith Baldwin is her birth name.
US Library of Congress Weis is consistent with that (see early Notes) but cites sffworld.com that Margaret Baldwin and Susan Lawson are both pseudonyms and itself catalogs both Baldwin and Lawson as pseudonyms.

Links
This recent edit by an IP, restoring two links I removed, is misguided and confused. I removed the links to The Soulforge and Brothers in Arms for a perfectly clear and simple reason: there are no articles about either one of those books. Instead, there is an article, The Raistlin Chronicles, which covers both novels. The two links I removed imply that articles specifically about those novels exist, and thereby confuse and misinform readers. There already is one direct link to the article on The Raistlin Chronicles, and it serves no useful purpose whatsoever to add two misleadingly-labelled links that indirectly connect to the same article.
