Simon Tedeschi)[1] is an Australian classical pianist.

Tedeschi was born in Gosford to Mark Tedeschi QC, Senior Crown Prosecutor for New South Wales and photographer[2] and Vivienne Tedeschi, the daughter of a Polish Holocaust survivor, Lucy Gershwin.[3] He grew up on the North Shore of Sydney[4] and attended Beaumont Road Public School in West Killara[5] and St Andrew's Cathedral School in Sydney where the headmaster discouraged him from taking part in sports lest he damage his hands.[6]

In 1998 he was the winner in the ABC Symphony Australia Young Performers Awards.[7]
