Town Square is an upscale, open air shopping, dining, business, fashion and entertainment center[1] development on 117 acres (47 ha)[2] in Enterprise, Nevada on Las Vegas Boulevard. This project by Turnberry Associates and Centra Properties includes 1,500,000 square feet (140,000 m2) of retail and 352,000 square feet (32,700 m2) of office space[3][4] The center opened on November 14, 2007.[5]

History

Ground was broken in May 2005[5] by Marnell Corrao Associates, the project contractor.[6] Town Square was designed by Development Design Group, Alan J. Mayer Architect and Marnell Corrao.[6] It is located on the former site of Vacation Village.

An existing 300,000-square-foot (28,000 m2) Fry's Electronics store on an adjacent site was incorporated into the project.[4]

While still under construction, the development was the centerpiece of the International Council of Shopping Centers convention, which began May 24, 2007.[4] Opened on November 14, 2007[7] the complex includes 22 new buildings incorporating 1,500,000 sq ft (140,000 m2) of retail space. It also includes a 9,000 sq ft (840 m2) Children's Park.[1][5]

Town Square features a wide array of stores, including Michael Kors, H&M, Apple, Guitar Center, Martin + Osa, Abercrombie & Fitch, Sephora, and Lucky Brand Jeans, as well as anchors The Container Store and Whole Foods Market. An 18-screen AMC movie theater, GameWorks, restaurants, lounges, and parks line the center of the complex.
