Likani Palace

Romanov Palace (Russian: дворец романовых; Georgian: რომანოვების სასახლე) also known as Likani Palace, is a summer mansion for Grand Duke Nicholas Mikhailovich of Russia. Built by the famous architect Leonti Nikolajewitsch Benois between the years of 1892-95, the palace lies on the bank of the Mtkvari River in Likani Georgia .

During the Soviet times, the palace was used by high-ranking officials, including the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. In 2004, the palace became the residence of the President of Georgia and is not currently open to the public
