Martin Hewitt (born 24 July 1965) is an English former professional footballer who played as a centre forward.
Career
Born in Hartlepool, Hewitt played for St. James', Hartlepool United and Billingham Synthonia.[1][2][3]
Personal life
His son Rhys, died in a car accident on 15 October 2014.[4][5] Rhys died after being struck by Vauxhall Corsa car on Brenda Road, Hartlepool while crossing the road near a bus depot around 19:00 BST and later died in hospital from serious injuries.[6]
