Kushikino (串木野市, Kushikino-shi) was a city located in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on October 1, 1950.
As of 2003, the city had an estimated population of 26,355 and the density of 327.55 persons per km². The total area was 80.46 km².
On October 11, 2005, Kushikino, along with the town of Ichiki (from Hioki District), was merged to create the city of Ichikikushikino and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
