The Shigar Fort (Balti:فونگ کھر) means The Fort on Rock[1] is an old fort of Baltistan and Pakistan located in Shigar Valley It was built in 17th century by the Raja of Amacha Dynasty of Shigar. The fort has restored by Aga Khan Cultural Service Pakistan (AKCSP-P) an institution of the Aga Khan Development Network. and now it has converted into Serena Hotel[2]
