The Tivoli Picture Theatre, opened on Friday the 7th of September 1923 with the showing of the film Where the Pavement Ends.[2] The Cinema closed in 1957 and the building was finally demolished. The name was also adopted by many other British music hall theatres which were located elsewhere in England.[1]
