Historian and linguist of ancient and modern languages.

I do not believe in Zeus, Jesus, or any gods, well maybe Aphrodite. She sounds OK.

I like acts who are not just atheists but actively promote atheism such as magicians... Penn & Teller, Derren Brown and rock band,... Foxy Freedom

Edited Historical Jesus page.(but everything was deleted by someone all at one go.) I could be wasting my work on here, playing to the least intelligent editor every time. Whoever doesn't understand something deletes it. Is it worth it?

note to myself: remember to use the talk pages at top left. Other people know this site better.

Trying something simple.

Draft for new page. I have not learnt how do add a new page yet so if anyone wants to create the page, do it

Foxy Freedom

category music pop group band

Foxy Freedom are a band known for their promotion of free speech and democracy. They are probably the only band to have a political philosophy paper named after them. (Harvard University publications and website) They also promote atheism and have commissioned and published a book called "Devil or Delusion" which shows the dangers of Christianity to democracy, free speech and science. They have also written a song called "Scotland Independent" donated the Scottish Independence movement to help promote interest in the referendum for independence.

History of the Band

2008 formed.

2008 first recordings late the same year.

2008 recording of the song Scotland Independent which was donated for free use to the Scottish Independence movement. The song has never been released by the band themselves because the song is written as a traditional song rather than in their own classic rock style. There are public recordings of the song available for free use. (find an online link to this song)

2009 first appearance on American Radio in the USA and Canada. (add link to newspaper interviews)

2009 Harvard University publishes Foxy Freedom political philosophy. (add link)

2011 The band commissioned and published the book "Devil or Delusion" (find online link) about the dangers of Christianity, which applies the attitudes of ancient societies to the modern day in the form of dogma. The book also shows how the bible was written. There is a chapter on the invention of God from tribal dieties and a chapter on the real Jesus which shows how the story of Jesus was constructed by the early church.

The band do not include their political or religious views in their music, which is kept strictly separate from their promotional activities.
