Paid advocacy is not tolerated on Wikipedia. Editors engaging in paid advocacy will be banned project-wide.[1]
Paid advocacy is a special case of editing with a conflict of interest, where the editor is compensated for the express purpose of advocacy or promotion within Wikipedia.
