Anina began modelling in [[New York city]] when a stylist invited her to participate in a photo shoot. This led to further work, and she then engaged an agent. Anina has modelled for many designers, including [[Sonia Rykiel]], [[Dries van Noten]], [[Salvatore Ferragamo]], and [[Turkey|Turkish]] [[haute couture]] designer [[Yıldırım Mayruk]]. Anina Trepte, also known by the pseudonym, "Anina.net",[1] is an American-born Paris-based international fashion model and a blogger with an web presence.[2] She has a following in China.[3][4] China Central Television awarded her "China's top foreign model" in 2009.[5] She also has her own line of Anime-inspired clothes, "aninaMINEme".[6]
