The Las Vegas Stars are a professional basketball team which plays in the International Basketball League. The team plays at the Stations Sports Complex. The inaugural head coach was George Tarkanian, son of famed coach Jerry Tarkanian. The current head coach is Dan Savage.[1] The CEO/General Manager, Alexis Levi-Scott, became the first African American female owner in professional basketball when she purchased an expansion professional basketball franchise in the International Basketball League (IBL).[2] Alexis Levi goes to Hollywood. Alexis Levi On Top Of The World to begin Airing on ION Network (NBC Affiliate Fall 2009. Alexis Levi and partners launch American International Basketball Association in 2010.

The 2009 Las Vegas Stars Professional Mens Basketball Team will play Exhibition Games in the US and Internationally.
