Jalamb is a town, in Shegaon tehsil of Buldhana district, Maharashtra State, India.
There is junction railway Station namely Jalamb Junction' and is located between Nandura and Shegaon and is located on Bhusawal - Badnera section of Bhusawal division of Central Railway. Jalamb connect Khamgaon town with main rail line.Jalmb is quite famous for Shree Aasra mata of machhindrakhed, Shri Payi Sansthan and Sitaram baba. The Aaloo wada of kalavati bayi was quite famous. The Marwadi families Like Chaudhary- Rathi-Agrawal-Sharma-Pandey- jangid are the few famous families having relations of Origin with the village. few decades back Jalamb was the richest village in buldhana distt.Now it can be included in the list of Poor villages. Due to lack of political willingness, social gratitude and a unanimous Leader , the situation of jalamb is very bad.
Jalamb was one of seven seat from Buldhana district in the Maharashtra State legislative assembly comprising of parts of Shegaon, Nandura, Jalgaon Jamod and Sangrampur tehsil of Buldhana district...Now it is a part of newly formed jalgaon jamod constituency.
