Note: The intent of this template is to provide a common navbox for basic basketball-related articles. My original intent was not to include every possible basketball article, but just the basics. Obviously additions will be made in the future, but the original thought was to keep it simple.
- There's no players section. Certainly Michael Jordan is more important than Basketball sleeve, but once you start adding players, it's hard to draw a line as to who should be included.
- More clothing needed. Right now there's no article on basketball uniforms or basketball shoes (that's a redirect), but the clothing section would ideally have more items.
- The basketball terminology category is filled with lots of articles; no way to include them all here, and again I was just creating this template with basic info.
- I could see adding a Strategy group with things like 1-3-1 defense or pick and roll or man-to-man defense, but that may lead to more non-basic things... hard to know where to draw the line.
- A Leagues group seems important, but again it's hard to draw the line. Certainly FIBA and NBA and NCAA would be included, but where to draw the line? (And how to represent other leagues without an American bias?) So I didn't add that group.
