DC Meetup #12
Saturday, October 23, 2010 — 6 p.m. until it ends
Who should come? You should. Really.

If you are interested in Wikipedia or other Wikimedia projects, regardless of your level of experience or involvement, or if you are otherwise involved with free content you are invited and welcome.

What, Where, When, and How?

Special Notes:

  • The meetup is the same weekend as MediaWiki Hack-A-Ton, which is in DC and bringing in developers and Wikimedia staff.
  • Bertucci's is in a GWU university building and is 100% accessible for the disabled.

Maps and info

Bertucci's (note: despite the steps, that's not the main entrance. Bertucci's is fully accessible for the disabled)
  • To get there from Metro's red line, you will have to change from the red line to the orange/blue line at Metro Center. You need to take the orange/blue line in the direction of Vienna.
  • To get there from Metro's green or yellow line, you should change to the orange/blue line at L'Enfant Plaza, and get the orange/blue line in the direction of Vienna.
  • If coming from Virginia, you can take either the orange or blue line directly to the Foggy Bottom station.
  • If you drive, there is a parking garage at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, [1]. Street (meter) parking is also available, payment required on Saturdays but there might be no time limit. (?)
  • Here (pdf) is a GWU campus map, which shows individual buildings. Bertucci's is located in #97 on the map.
