It was recorded that Silva won via TKO (strikes) but actually officially he won by submission (other). They don't count strikes as a submission so when someone taps because he is getting pounded it is recorded as other... nonetheless I say we leave it as "Submission (strikes)" because it is the most accurate record of what happened. but he wasn’t submitted, he didn’t tap out, Silva just disconnects him by beating, That’s a KO for me --Vik.sanchez (talk) 15:27, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

by the way; Keith Jardine $10,000 That’s greed --Vik.sanchez (talk) 15:29, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How are the wages agreed? (I would be interested to know, so if someone in the know could please create the article UFC Fight Payroll... :) ). Is there a prize for winning (Penn vs Sherk) or do the fighters agree the wage regardless of the outcome (Machida vs Ortiz)? Or perhaps it is on experience? I note they paid more for Sokoudjou on an undercard fight than they spent on two maincard fights (individually). 82.32.192.113 (talk) 10:51, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't even seen the fight! But I've been told he tapped 3 times - more importantly if you follow the link to the official results on the UFC card it says he submitted so that is pretty definitive. Disco (talk) 06:57, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
