Funny ref - billions

So, billions have been poured into hypecars since 1994. That must be why there are so many of them. I realise that the claim is supported by a reference, albeit not third party, but, since the statement is at best an incredible and self serving exaggeration, should we not get a good third party ref, at least? This page is an advert for a company that seems never to have achieved anything. a hypercar is a car costing over £300,000 with a top speed above 210mph, as described below. 86.180.130.125 (talk) 18:46, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Supercar", "exotic"

Well I didn't know about this project, I must say that the term "hypercar" is sometimes used to describe extreme high-end performance cars like the McLaren F1 and Bugatti Veyron, kind of like the terms "supercar" or "exotic" except for it is implied to only the fastest and most exclusive cars. Just wanted to mention that, maybe someone could change this article --99Ferrari (talk) 06:00, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well to be honest I can't say I much like the word hypercar in either sense. Still, if you can find a reliable source that refers to rich man's toys as hypercars I guess we can use that to deflate this article's pomposity. Greglocock (talk) 10:32, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
