1907–08 Southern Football League

The 1907-08 Southern Football League season was the 14th in the history of the Southern League, a football competition in England. The League comprised future Football League sides and non-league clubs. The teams in the League were divided into First and Second Divisions.

Promotion and relegation

After only one season in the Southern League, Bradford Park Avenue were were elected to Football League Division Two along with Tottenham Hotspur. Division Two champions Southend United were promoted to Division One. No teams were relegated to Division Two. Coventry City and Exeter City joined the Southern League straight into Division One, expanding Division One to 21 teams. Division Two runner-up, Portsmouth II left the Southern League, along with Brighton & Hove Albion II, Southampton II, Swindon Town II, Tunbridge Wells Rangers, and Wycombe Wanderers. They were replaced by 2nd Grenadier Guards, Depot Battallion Royal Engineers, and South Farnborough Athletic.
