Christian Dannemann Eriksen (born 14 February 1992 in Middelfart) is a Danish professional football player, currently playing as an attacking midfielder for Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam.

Early career
Christian Eriksen started playing football in his hometown Middelfart before his third birthday. He has previously been on trial with major European football clubs including Chelsea FC and FC Barcelona.[1]. He was named Danish U-17 Talent of the Year in 2008 by the Danish FA.
Eriksen have stated that he will be the next Michael Laudrup
Ajax
On October 17 2008 it was announced that he had signed a 3-year contract with Ajax Amsterdam. The transfer fee received by OB was estimated to €1 million. (no source) He worked his way through the youth teams and made his first team debut for the Dutch team in the Eredivisie on 17 January 2010 against NAC Breda.[2]
