:My fault. I did not relize the edit history you speak of. I noticed that birthdate and birthplace info were missing so I added it per imbd.com - I figured that website was reliable and verifiable. I guess not. It's cool with me. [[User:Nick22aku|Nick22aku]] ([[User talk:Nick22aku#top|talk]]) 03:51, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Steve Burns (architect), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Steve Burns (architect). If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- Masterpjz9 05:30, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your Township nav box for Wayne County, Ohio. However, I would suggest / argue strongly in favor of making Nav Boxes for the whole county (i.e. all cities, villages, townships, and census-designated places) and not just townships. I especially think it premature to make such a township only nav box when there are no township articles for Wayne County (they are all red links).

For examples of two styles of county nav boxes, see Northumberland County, Pennsylvania and Alameda County, California. I prefer the former style. There is a discussion on this starting at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. counties if you are interested. Yours, Ruhrfisch 02:56, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PS I see you have worked on / added such Township nav boxes to Ashland, Geauga, Hamilton, Lake, Portage, and Summit Counties too. Same suggestion applies to these.Ruhrfisch 03:26, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

That is nice of you adding a image of the Madison Township water tower to the Madison Township article. I thank you so much on that one because Madison Township is where I grew up in.

I thank you so much for adding a image of the Richland County Court house to the Richland County, Ohio article and that was what we needed there. Those are nice image's. Keep up the good work! ---Ohioan 02:13, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of municipality and township sections and locator maps from Ohio county articles

Hi Nick, while I agree that the information in the county nav boxes duplicates that in the articles, the Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. counties calls for the section and map you are deleting, as well as a county infobox, which would include the map and duplicate othe info. Notability of The Buchtelite

A tag has been placed on The Buchtelite, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. Categories

Please be careful not to place parts of your user page in categories, like the articles in progress page is. It's confusing, and I don't think your page is an Ohio navigational box :-) Thanks! Nyttend 05:35, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yikes! I could not agree more. I have made the same suggestion to other users in the past who have included their userpages in cats... and now I contribute to the same confusion myself? Oversight on my part now corrected. Nick22aku 04:26, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ... I just wanted to let you know that I've added a speedy delete tag to an article you recently created because it's redundant with another page that already exists. You created Mike Wood (baseball player). The existing article is Mike Wood (baseball). --Sanfranman59 20:15, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. However, I would recommend a redirect in these type of situations (which is what was ultimately done anyway). Reason: If deleted, all existing links of Mike Wood (baseball player) would return to redlinks (not what we want since there is already an article for Mike Wood at Mike Wood (baseball)). A redlink suggests an article needs to be created (again, this is not the case since there is already an article for this player). A redirect, not a speedy delete, works best here. Nick22aku 04:19, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I went and put Maximiliano Ramirez over at afd, since he's still a long way from even AAA ball yet. Since you're the author of it and you've had your afd battles on baseball players of similar "notability", I figured you might want to take a look.--Wizardman 17:41, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Jordan Brown (baseball player), by Tecmobowl, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Jordan Brown (baseball player) seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Jordan Brown (baseball player), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Jordan Brown (baseball player) itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 05:16, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kudos

Thanks for your recent creation of several articles about baseball players -- I'd been "watching" the non-existent Brian Williams (baseball player) article for a while, and it's nice to see it appear. -- JHunterJ 14:22, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, I'm still working on a lot more. In fact, I plan to create an article for every player that played for the Cleveland Indians from 1995-present that currently does not have an article. So far, every Indian from 1995-2002 is now on Wikipedia and I hope to create all missing Indians from 2003-present by the end of the weekend. In the near future, I plan to create all missing Indians from around 1980-1995 and all missing Montreal Expos from 1990-2004. Nick22aku 20:26, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Minor league rosters / flags

Hi, Nice work with those roster pages. Don't forget MOS:FLAG. Flags shouldn't be used in the rosters by a player's name. {{MLBplayer}} is more appropriate than {{player}} since it doesn't include flags. MLB roster temps no longer use flags, so MiLB rosters shouldn't either. Otherwise, keep up the good work. -NatureBoyMD (talk) 02:52, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Noted ...but confused as to why they accepted here in NBA rosters but not accepted here and here in MLB rosters? Nick22aku (talk) 03:32, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It beats me about the NBA rosters. I'd say that either no one cares or no one is aware of it. (I didn't see any discussions related to flags at WikiProject NBA) -NatureBoyMD (talk) 04:11, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. Lets look into this first before changing it though. The reason I chose "Canton/Akron Indians" over "Canton-Akron Indians" is because I saw teams like "Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees" use the "/" opposed to the "-." Nick22aku (talk) 04:25, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Armando Camacaro

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Armando Camacaro, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. A tag has been placed on Jeanmar Gomez requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. 2009 International League season - team specific articles

Hey, I created and am updating the 2009 Toledo Mud Hens season article and noticed that you did the Charlotte and Columbus. I was wondering if you would want to team up and we can create/update 2009 season articles for the rest of league and get rid of all those red links in 2009 season template box. Sound like a plan? I am up for it - just give me a few days before I get started on it. Nick22aku (talk) 23:03, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Priscilla Barnes

Please do not add material to articles without citing a reliable, verifiable source per WP:V, WP:NOR and WP:RS, as you did with this edit to Priscilla Barnes. That material has been reverted about a dozen times already for this reason. Thank you. Nightscream (talk) 23:51, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My fault. I did not relize the edit history you speak of. I noticed that birthdate and birthplace info were missing so I added it per imbd.com - I figured that website was reliable and verifiable. I guess not. It's cool with me. Nick22aku (talk) 03:51, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
