The Giant Kelpfish (Heterostichus rostratus) is a marine fish found on the west coast of North America. It is found from British Columbia to southern Baja California. It inhabits kelp forests and other large sea weeds. It feeds on small crustaceans, mollusks and small fishes. It can reach a maximum size of 61cm and has been reported to live for 4 years.
