Arul Pragasam was a Tamil Millitant in the Sri Lankan Civil War, and is the estranged father of musician M.I.A. (Maya Arulpragasam). Arul Pragasam was one of the founding members of the militant group EROS, Eelam Revolutionary Organisation of Students.
